The White Pixel

The White Pixel is an interactive installation from The White Pixel Project series, presented at the international media art festival NUR 2022.

The monumental white cube represents a physical embodiment of a pixel, one of the key symbols of the digital era.

The noise background of the installation continuously influences the generation of its audio and visual accompaniment. Surrounding sounds in real-time are synthesized into a unified composition that affects the behavior of light. Beams directed at each vertical face reflect off the surface of the cube, creating an overall lighting scene throughout the perimeter of the installation.
