Radugadesign x Output Jinmao tower

This January radugadesign in collaboration with Output agency presents the audience with a new naked-eye 3D motion design piece. The display is located in the heart of Jinmao Tower in Shanghai, one of the tallest buildings in Asia.

Content is timed with the Chinese new year celebration and colored with a joyful and relaxing feeling. With the screen located just opposite the main entrance, we were challenged to create a memorable motion design for a wide audience.

Motion content features naked-eye 3D technique in an unusual setup. Two separate screens of different sizes and color displays are located one above another. Unlike working with a cornered screen, where the effect is accomplished by the imitation of an object moving out of the borders, in a flat set up we’ve chosen to work with the textures and imitation of glass.
