BIOM, created by Radugadesign, merges nature, digital data, and multimedia for an exploration of human-nature-technology relationships.
Shown at TSEH in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, BIOM features collaborations with Sphere Sound Studio for sound design and Oasis Exhibition agency for floral design. The central hall hosts an audiovisual installation driven by global environmental data analysis.
BIOM's narrative unfolds through interconnected acts, each mirroring distinct weather conditions, providing viewers with an immersive experience.
The soundscape avoids real sounds like raindrops and animal noises. Instead, we use processed clicks that mimic insect buzzing, gradually transitioning noise into rumbling thunder.
In a smaller hall, BIOM explores biodiversity through video art by visualizing 16 plant species with advanced neural networks: Gen-2, RIFE AI Interpolation, and Stable Diffusion.
