Into the Arctic

Installation
2022

Radugadesign together with Gazprom Neft designed the art project "Into the Arctic" for the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2022. A two-storey pavilion emerged in the center of the main pavilion – a giant 'ice' cube serving as a portal to the world of the Far North and its marine inhabitants.

The studio developed the stand concept, created motion design with naked-eye 3D effects lasting a total of 8 minutes, designed the interior of the pavilion, and established visual identity for the project.

The installation "Into the Arctic" is an artistic exploration of humanity's complex relationship with infinity, exploring themes of beauty, fragility, and power in nature through minimalist forms, smoothness, and deliberate pacing.
The monumental "ice" cube appears to "float" above the mirrored floor. Its panels are made of screens showcasing content featuring Arctic animals such as walruses, whales, and narwhals.

The interior of the pavilion extends the installation's overall concept. This cohesive design creates a sense of complete immersion for visitors.
