"David Ben Gurion's letters" Interactive Installation

In October 2020 the new exhibit completed a permanent exposition of the “Soviet Union” hall at the Jewish museum and Tolerance Center. This is an interactive installation which consists of the originals and digital copies of the first prime minister and Israel state’s creator, Ben-Gurion’s letter. Radugadesign studio developed creative and technical solutions for the exhibit and prepared soft for its multimedia content.

In “David Ben-Gurion’s report for the Histadrut on his participation in the 1923 Moscow All-Russian Agricultural and Industrial Crafts Exhibition” with the help of moving transparent OLED screen equipped with motion sensors the visitors could examine archive materials, photos, translation and other information in the interactive mode and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the 1920s. Moving the screen manually the visitors could observe the content linked to the exhibits’ positions.

The manuscript describes the visit of a politician to All-Russian Agricultural and Industrial Crafts Exhibition, in Moscow in 1923. Ben-Gurion shared his impressions of the Jewish life in the USSR.
